Qiuyi is an accomplished employment lawyer and a valued member of our litigation team. With extensive experience and expertise in the field, Qiuyi provides advice across a broad spectrum of the employment relationship, ranging from the formation of employment to termination, including post-termination issues. Additionally, Qiuyi provides advice on workplace law compliance and handle investigations or litigation brought by regulatory bodies for breaches of these laws.

Qiuyi's services are regularly sought for the following:

1. Preparing and negotiating employment contracts and executive agreements, which may involve complex incentive or termination benefit structures.
2. Conducting workplace investigations into matters such as bullying, sexual harassment or other policy breaches, while also providing advice on workplace grievance procedures.
3. Providing advice on employment termination matters.
4. Advising on compliance with the Fair Work Act, including matters related to termination entitlements, redundancy, employment records, payslips and unpermitted deductions.
5. Representing clients during investigations conducted by the Fair Work Ombudsman for alleged underpayment or other workplace law breaches.

In dispute-based matters, Qiuyi is committed to resolving disputes by cost-effective alternative dispute resolution. However, when litigation becomes the most viable option for his clients, he acts swiftly and diligently in employment litigation matters, including:

1. Dismissal claims under the Fair Work Act, such as unfair dismissal and general protections.
2. Claims related to employment contracts, including breach of restraint of trade, breach of employee or employer duties and disputes regarding remuneration, equity incentives or termination benefits.
3. Proceedings initiated by the Fair Work Ombudsman concerning contraventions of workplace laws.
