Sharmini Subramaniam is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law and is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for her clients, many of which are not financial. She is focused on understanding their needs and determining the strategy required to attain client goals in a practical, cost effective and timely manner.
Sharmini has co-authored articles on such topics as valuation issues, the use of forensic accountants and financial disclosure in property proceedings.
Currently, Sharmini is a member of the Property and Maintenance Committee of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Women’s Migrants’ Legal Information Committee of the Victorian Women Lawyers Association, Family Law Section Law Council of Australia and Asian Australian Lawyers Association.
Due to her South Asian cultural background, Sharmini is sensitive to and respectful of different cultures and traditions. She speaks Tamil.
