Abbey is a Lawyer in our Family Law team. She previously obtained a Bachelor of Laws and International Studies at Deakin University. Abbey subsequently completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Leo Cussen.
During her time at University, Abbey completed legal internships at First Nations Legal & Research Services, where she assisted senior research Anthropologists and Lawyers with the preparation of Native Title claims in Victoria and the Goulburn Vally Community Legal Centre, assisting Family Violence Duty Lawyers in relation to Family Violence Intervention Orders.
Following admission, Abbey worked at a commercial, property and civil litigation firm where she worked on contract and fencing disputes, residential and commercial leasing agreements, building insurance claims and debt recovery matters.
Having practiced exclusively in family law for the past year, Abbey has acquired valuable experience and exposure to divorce matters, property and financial settlements, parenting matters, financial agreements and intervention orders. Abbey brings a warm, practical and well-rounded approach to supporting clients through what can often be difficult and challenging times.
In her spare time, Abbey enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
