Dylan Burch is a Melbourne and Brisbane based family lawyer, advising individuals and families across all aspects of family law, including complex property disputes, parenting matters and family violence proceedings.
Dylan has been practicing exclusively in family law for over the last 14 years and takes a practical and commercial approach. Dylan has appeared in National media, including television, radio and newspaper where he is often called on to discuss topical issues in family law.
Dylan is passionate about family law and understands that separation can be one of the most challenging and emotionally difficult experiences a person will face. He works closely with clients to provide understanding, compassion and practical guidance while developing strategies aimed at achieving timely and cost-effective outcomes.
Known for his clear and straightforward communication style, Dylan provides concise, plain-English advice that helps clients understand their options and make informed decisions throughout the legal process. Dylan likes to try and remove the emotion from Family Law matters and help people move on with their lives.
Dylan has a particular interest in complex property matters and regularly assists clients in matters involving family companies, trusts and intricate financial structures. Dylan also likes drafting and reviewing Financial Agreements in context of asset protection and making sure people are fully aware of their rights both prior, during and post a relationship ending.
He also has extensive experience representing clients in family violence and Intervention Order proceedings, regularly appearing in the Magistrates' Court in relation to these matters.
