Gayathri is a Melbourne-based wills and estates lawyer who advises clients on estate planning Probate, Letters of Administration and estate administration matters.
Gayathri holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London and is a qualified lawyer in both Sri Lanka and Australia. Prior to relocating to Melbourne with her family in 2024, she practiced in Tasmania, where she gained valuable experience in Wills and Estates law.
While completing her Australian legal qualifications through Deakin University and undertaking supervised legal training with Leo Cussen, Gayathri further developed her expertise in civil litigation and Wills and Estates law while working as a Paralegal. Following her admission as an Australian legal practitioner, she commenced practising exclusively in Wills and Estates.
Gayathri has extensive experience assisting clients with drafting simple and complex Wills, including Testamentary Trust Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and Appointment of Medical Treatment Decision Makers. She also has experience preparing applications for Probate and Letters of Administration and guiding executors and beneficiaries through the administration of deceased estates.
She is committed to providing clear, practical, and compassionate advice, helping clients navigate important life decisions and challenging circumstances with confidence and certainty.
