Hunter Thompson is a Melbourne-based family lawyer and a member of Aitken Partners' Family Law team.
Hunter holds a Juris Doctor from Monash University and a Master of Journalism from the University of Melbourne. Before joining Aitken Partners, he worked as an Associate at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, where he gained valuable insight into family law proceedings and the operation of the court system.
Prior to his role as an Associate, Hunter worked as a Barrister's Clerk and as a paralegal in a criminal law firm, developing a strong foundation in legal practice and dispute resolution.
Hunter has experience advising clients across a range of family law matters, including parenting matters, property and financial settlements, divorce, financial agreements and intervention orders. He approaches his work with a measured and analytical style while remaining personable and communicative with clients throughout the legal process.
