Joel is a lawyer in Aitken Partners’ litigation department, practising predominantly in general civil litigation, dispute resolution, and insolvency.
Joel has experience acting for a broad range of clients, spanning from individuals and small businesses to multi-national corporations. He is also experienced in many jurisdictions, including but not limited to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria, the County Court of Victoria, the Supreme Court of Victoria (both the Trial Division and the Court of Appeal), and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Joel regularly advises on and is engaged in matters relating to:
- Restructuring, Turnaround, and Insolvency;
- Bankruptcy;
- Debt Recovery;
- Company, Director, and Shareholder Disputes;
- Contractual Disputes; and
- Commercial Law.
