Shahn Beasley-Reickenvater is a Melbourne-based family lawyer who advises individuals and families across all areas of family law, including parenting disputes, property settlements and complex family law proceedings.
Shahn brings a measured and strategic approach to resolving family law disputes, with a focus on achieving practical and effective outcomes for his clients. He understands that family law matters often involve significant personal and financial consequences and works closely with clients to provide clear advice and strong representation throughout the legal process.
Shahn holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne and was admitted to practice in 2020. He has developed a diverse practice through his work with Victoria Legal Aid and private law firms, gaining experience across family law, child protection, criminal law and commercial litigation.
Shahn's practice is now exclusively focused on family law. He has a particular interest in complex matters involving family trust structures, parenting disputes involving allegations of unacceptable risk, and international child abduction proceedings under the Hague Convention.
