Experience
Carl is a Melbourne-based wills and estates lawyer and Special Counsel in the Wills and Estates team at Aitken Partners. He advises individuals, executors, beneficiaries and trustees across a broad range of estate litigation and disputed estate matters.
Admitted to practise in 2010, Carl has extensive experience acting in complex wills and estates disputes. He regularly advises clients in contested probate proceedings, including matters involving allegations of lack of testamentary capacity and undue influence. He also acts in applications concerning the removal of executors and trustees and other disputes arising from the administration of estates and trusts.
Carl is known for his ability to listen carefully to clients and provide clear, practical and strategic advice. He understands that estate disputes often arise during difficult and emotional circumstances and works closely with clients to identify effective solutions and achieve the best possible outcome.
