Bao is a Principal Lawyer and seasoned legal professional with a robust practice spanning Commercial Litigation, Property & Commercial Law, Property Litigation, Employment Law and Migration Law. Bao graduated with a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Banking and Finance and has a Graduate Diploma in Migration Law. Bao brings a multifaceted approach to addressing clients’ diverse legal needs.
Bao’s expertise lies in facilitating seamless transactions across litigation, property and commercial matters.
At Aitken Partners, Bao has distinguished himself in handling intricate and complex property disputes, encompassing caveat and mortgage disputes, contractual conflicts, building disputes, development disputes, partnerships and joint venture dissolutions and both commercial and retail leasing disputes.
His prowess in litigation extends to representing clients before tribunals and courts, ensuring strong advocacy and adept strategies.
In addition to his property and commercial focus, Bao is deeply involved in Migration Law, providing comprehensive guidance on visa applications, review of refusal decisions, and complex visa cancellation matters.
Bao's commitment to diversity and inclusion is evident through his involvement in various community initiatives. As President of the Victorian Branch of the Asian Australian Law Association (AALA), he advocates for greater representation and equality in the legal profession.
Bao also volunteers his legal expertise with organisations such as WestJustice and Vietnamese Museum Australia, championing social justice and community empowerment.
Fluent in Vietnamese, Bao is dedicated to serving Vietnamese clients with cultural sensitivity and linguistic proficiency. He extends his legal acumen beyond his primary practice areas, representing Vietnamese clients in Wills and Estates, Family Law, Intervention Order, and Criminal Law matters.
