With changes regularly being made to the scope of concessional tax benefits in superannuation, Jack Conway tells the Financial Standard it would be great to see some proposed reforms and clarity in the death benefits space.
"Most lawyers and advisors now appreciate that superannuation death benefits don't form part of a deceased estate, and that binding death benefit nominations typically lapse every three years (lapsing BDBNs)," Jack says in the article Estate Planning | Onwards and Upwards.
