Lighthouse Project Media Release

The Court has released a media statement regarding a new risk screening pilot being trialled by the Adelaide, Brisbane and Parramatta Registries of the Family Court and Federal Circuit Court.

It is designed to assist the Court to identify, triage and case-manage matters involving family violence. Cases assessed as being "high riskwill be assigned to a dedicated list, called the Evatt List.

The Evatt List focusses on early information gathering and intervention, via a judge-led support team. The team has highly specialised training in family violence intervention.
