Strengthening our partnership with the Melbourne Football Club

Our partnership with the Melbourne Football Club continues to grow, bringing new opportunities for members and our community.
It has been a fantastic start to our partnership with the Melbourne Football Club, and we are thrilled to see the team performing so well this season. As the Club’s Official Legal Services Partner, we have appreciated the opportunity to support a club with such strong presence both on and off the field.
Our staff have enjoyed attending Melbourne’s home games with clients and referrers, including the President’s Club (link to LinkedIn Post from Dylan), which has been a great way to connect with the wider club community and share the experience with the people we work closely with.
Our partnership was first announced in December last year , marking the beginning of a collaboration that will continue throughout the 2027 season, and hopefully beyond.
Members of our leadership team travelled to Sydney for the club’s Partnership Conference. Managing Principal Alex Nicol and Principal Dylan Burch joined a wide range of organisations working with Melbourne, including Zurich Australia, DriversDepot, Penrite Oil, Hertz, the LEGO Group, Harcourts Real Estate, Akambo and many others. The conference was a valuable opportunity to collaborate, share insights and strengthen relationships across the partner network.
Our advertising campaign with the club has also rolled out, highlighting the exclusive offer now available to Melbourne members and is featured across the club website, videos and Instagram page.

As we look ahead to the rest of the season and the kick off of the AFLW season in August, our team is proud to continue strengthening our connection with the club and its community. Reflecting on the partnership so far, Principal Dylan Burch said:
“Our partnership with Melbourne Football Club has been going really well. We have loved attending the President's Club function with our most important clients and referrers and other partners who are supporting the club. It also gives us an opportunity to engage with club members with a special offer. The club has a legacy of more than 100 years, which is something our firm also has in common, so it's a great fit for us.”
We also acknowledged the passing of Neale Daniher AO who made a significant contribution to AFL and MFC over many years. Including the founding of FightMND Foundation.
Partnering with the club has been a great reminder of its long history. The Melbourne Football Club is one of the oldest professional sporting clubs in the world dating back to 1858, and they are also the only Professional Sports team in the world still playing the sport they helped to invent - the club codified the rules of the game in 1859.
